What part of “compact car parking only” do we not understand?
This sort of thing is actually pretty standard behavior for the U of C police. I was driving to campus one afternoon, and a UC cop came up behind me on Garfield Blvd. I stopped at the Yield sign because an on-coming car was trying to turn there. While I was waiting, the cop passed me in the no-passing zone, almost hitting the turning car. Then he ran the red light at Cottage Grove. Then he made a right turn onto Ellis Avenue from the LEFT-turn lane on Garfield so that he could go around the cars stopped at the red light there. Were his lights and sirens on? No. He was just being obnoxious.
